Bernice specialises in therapy work with adults and adolescents on emotion regulation (anxiety, depression, etc), stress management, and relationship issues. Her experience as a practitioner spans a wide demographic of clients in both clinical and non-clinical settings. This includes C-suite executives, students with special needs, geriatric and palliative patients, and inmates in the Singapore Prisons.
Given her experience with clients in corporate settings as a psychologist, she is also an experienced vocational coach with a focus on career transition management, communication dynamics, and motivation issues in the workplace.
As every client is unique, Bernice strongly believes in tailoring her therapy approach to suit their individual needs. She prefers a collaborative approach with her clients and employs a blend of cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and emotion-focused frameworks during therapy.
Work in the therapy room aside, Bernice also conducts talks and webinars on mental health and mental wellness issues for the general public as well as various corporate organisations and government-related bodies.
